T.B. Joshua’s Prophetic Ministry

It was in desperation that Mr. Innocent Osuoha and his wife, Patience, rushed to The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) on Sunday 13th June 2010. The couple wept in silence, prayerfully clutching the pictures of two young children. Nnaemeka and Chigozie, their only sons, had been kidnapped merely days earlier, with no trace or sign of them since. Having heard countless stories of ritual killing and children sacrificed, the couple came all the way from Cotonou, Benin Republic where they reside, to commit their situation into God’s hands, knowing only divine intervention could prevail.

Their petitions soon attracted God’s attention as Prophet T.B. Joshua sighted Patience in the midst of the crowd and called her out. “Madam, I can see you are grieved,” the prophet began. “But I want to assure you that you will find those children that are missing. As we are talking now, God is releasing them.” Patience had not shown the pictures to the prophet, nor had she told a single soul about their predicament. It was a revelation from above. Tearfully praising God, she explained to the congregation that her two sons had gone out to have a haircut a few days before and had not returned home. Frantic efforts were made to find them and the police authorities were alerted, but all to no avail. The Prophet revealed the children were actually taken for ritual purposes, but authoritatively declared that the kidnappers were already confused and about to release them. The congregation joined Mr and Mrs Osuoha to rejoice at the prophetic declaration, and the duo headed straight home after the service, their fears and anxieties replaced with a strong faith.

A week later on Sunday 20th June 2010, the family returned to The SCOAN to confirm the prophetic declaration with an incredible testimony of God’s protection. Nnaemeka and Chigozie had returned unscathed and untouched! Mrs Patience explained that she was at home with her husband three days after their visit to The SCOAN when her phone rang. “It was my son!  He told us they were safe and asked us to pick them up at the place the kidnappers had abandoned them,” Patience blissfully testified. Her husband immediately traced the location of the children and the family were joyously reconciled.

Narrating his experience, Nnaemeka, 11, said that on the fateful day they were kidnapped, a strange man had walked up to them informing them that he wanted to buy them something. “While we were going with him, I can’t explain what happened to me – I just fell asleep. I woke up the next day discovering that I was in a strange place. I told my brother, ‘It’s like they have kidnapped us’.” Even at his tender age, Nnaemeka and his sibling had strong faith in God and began to pray fervently. “We began to call upon the Lord. We prayed to the Lord for His mercy upon our lives.” He explained that each time they were caught praying, the three kidnappers would mercilessly beat them up, telling them to stop disturbing them with prayers. Adjacent to the small room they were being kept was a door. One day, Nnaemeka summoned courage to open it, hoping to discover some sort of escape route. Within the room was a hideous looking idol, too grotesque for the young boy to describe. He fearfully slammed the door and continued in prayer. “They wanted to use their parts,” T.B. Joshua soberly stated.“It’s not your money or anything they needed but the parts of their body – to use for ritual”.

TB Joshua With Family

Nnaemeka continued: “They kept us in the room and didn’t allow us to go outside. Each time we went to the rest room, they would bring us back and lock us inside. They only gave us water and gari to eat.” However, all was not well in the kidnappers’ camp as the two brothers began to hear them arguing violently.“On Wednesday, when I was locked up and praying with my brother, I overheard them fighting and quarrelling among themselves. I heard one of them say, ‘Why did you bring these children here? They keep disturbing us!’ ” Later that day, the captors called Nnaemeka and asked for his dad’s phone number. They then carried the boys to another location, and gave him a phone to speak to his father. Nnaemeka hurriedly told him their location, upon which the kidnappers fled the scene, leaving the two boys alone. The rest is history!

Utilising the opportunity to address the world concerning the gift of prophecy, T.B. Joshua stated: “By what mark may we discover a cheat? If he gives us any sign or foretells something to come and the event is not according to his prophecy, we may come to a conclusion and say, ‘He is not sent of God’ ” He also counselled parents to be careful of where their children go, stating that we live in a danger zone where everyone lies to his neighbour. Chigozie, Nnaemeka’s younger brother also chipped in a few words: “I want to thank God for the prayers of God’s people and the help of T.B. Joshua. If not, I don’t think we would be alive today.” Mr Osuoha expressed his heartfelt appreciation to God for rescuing his two sons.“Today God has put joy into our family. May His name be glorified! I don’t know how to say it, but today – I am full of joy! Thank You, Jesus!”

Emmanuel TV – The World’s Best Kept Secret?

Just finished watching the live Monday service on Emmanuel TV. The prophetic ministry of Prophet T.B. Joshua and the Wise Men is simply astonishing. The amount of detail revealed to individuals they have never met before, the accuracy of which is immediately confirmed, can only be attributed to God’s work and wisdom. And deliverance/ solution follows. As T.B. Joshua says, “The prophecy contains both question and answer!”

Whenever I watch Emmanuel TV, particularly of recent, I feel that it is one of the world’s best kept secrets! Truly, many people watch Emmanuel TV, particularly across Africa, but I believe what happens on Emmanuel TV every day should be broadcast round the world via all major world media and mediums. That’s how significant it is. It’s practical Christianity in action in a very raw and real way that echoes what we read about in the Gospels of Jesus and the Book of Acts.

People today often view Christianity through a stereotypically negative lens, based on their experiences of those who talk the talk but don’t walk the walk. Hypocrites. However, if more people are exposed to Christian content in line with Emmanuel TV, I believe such perceptions will be challenged and soon change. We need to spread the message!

I recently read this article about Emmanuel TV that echoed my sentiments, written by a Zambian blogger:

In an age where most teens can be found sprawled on the sofa watching comedies, movies, soap-operas or other mind-numbing and reality-dimming programs, Christian television with a growing passionate following is indeed a rare phenomenon. It is in fact an African phenomenon…

Emmanuel TV is an evangelical enigma. Quite frankly, it’s unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. Both raw and radical, it’s definitely not your run-of-the-mill religious content. It’s the station of the famous Nigerian Prophet, TB Joshua – one of the most debated and berated African characters in recent history, the storm still raging and the records still writing.

In recent months, Emmanuel TV has captured the African spirit in an almost baffling fashion, celestially arresting their attention and further stirring dispute and fuelling repute. The compelling synergy of unique and captivating Christian content sends countless tens of thousands of Africans scurrying to their television sets every Sunday, choosing to participate in the live service broadcast from The SCOAN (that lasts almost the entire day) than even going to their churches or engaging in social activities. And it’s growing at an astonishing rate both in awareness and acclaim, each week unveiling scores of new avid devotees.

Even the most unlikely and ‘unreligious’ sit in front of the box to watch his prophetic time, fetching out people and telling them their life history with uncanny accuracy and extraordinary effect. It’s a lifetime of experience served live and direct, the amount of specific detail coupled with the shock of the persons concerned bold statements that pre-arrangement has no involvement. A real eye-opener for those scores of sceptics, provoking even the most hardest of atheists to review their stance and ask some fundamental questions.

Prophet Joshua then puts his entire ministry on the line in releasing prophetic messages to nations, oftentimes mentioning specific places and dates. Their consistency in accuracy is clear proofs that such declarations cannot but be a product of divine instruction, direction and revelation. Envious fellows even abuse his repute to spread rumours of prophetic fallacies, word often spreading to such extent that fears and strife are rife in communities and even countries as a result. People fled home, schools closed down and business ground to a halt in a Nigerian state of late because mischievous men peddled a rumour that Pastor Joshua had said lions would come out and attack! Such is the gravity with which people view his prophecies.

Then there are the miracles that seem almost too instant and incredulous to be true, yet with such alarming consistency, widespread testimony and lasting result they just can’t be disregarded. Be it HIV/ AIDs, cancerous sores or those restricted to wheelchairs – testimonies resound unanimous.

Then there comes charity. A ministry where partners can truly see the fruit of their offerings, the evidence of their sacrifice. Multitudes of less-privileged given scholarships, provided with housing and welfare, taken care of on literally a weekly basis. And no monotonous call for funds, no bank details stuck on the screen at every availing instance, no subtle undertone of financial obligation.

What of the demonic deliverances, with human beings previously calm suddenly catapulted to the floor, contorting and contracting with animalistic instincts, groaning and grimacing with venom in their croaky voices? Certainly not for the faint in heart! With self-professed witches openly confessing, repentant robbers forsaking their old ways and unveiling their gruesome tales, broken homes and relationships restored and reunited, it’s a station that defines the term ‘unexpected’.

Exciting as the latest blockbuster, heart-wrenching as the latest thriller – yet edifying, encouraging and experience-injecting all at once, Emmanuel TV is the station of the moment in Africa. In my native Zambia, Emmanuel TV is practically our national station – the people’s station. And each week there’s something new, something fresh, something unique to astound and confound. These weekly events form the basis for lengthy discussions, feeding disagreements and building unlikely unions cutting across tribe, race and even religion. Everyone has their own opinion, many having heard unfounded rumours and reports of TB Joshua’s ‘devilish’ activities before, but time and the sheer consistency of the prophet’s words and works continue to sway more and more people to believe this is not another ‘pick-pocketing’ religious hoax, but a practical living reality.

Yes, it appears we have a 21st century prophet in our midst, greatly misunderstood and gravely underrated, the types and likes of which are seldom seen in our technological and self-serving generation. Not convinced? Have a watch yourself…

Postponement of Nigerian Election: T.B. Joshua’s Prophecy

A quick break from the usual individual testimonies!

I have seen a lot of online discussion about the prophecy of T.B. Joshua about the postponement of the Nigerian elections, which are now scheduled to start this Saturday 9th April 2011. There was an even a leading article about it on Nigeria’s evening tabloid, ‘PM News’.

However, in all the debate and discussion, I have not actually seen anyone quote T.B. Joshua’s exact words on the issue. So, since the video of the prophecy is on YouTube, I decided to highlight the prophet’s exact words, and the dates where he said them.

Prophet T.B. Joshua

Prophet T.B. Joshua of The SCOAN

On August 1st 2010, T.B. Joshua said, “I’m hearing the word ‘extension’ What is the extension? Extension of what? What are we extending? It has to do with this country. What are you extending again? I’m hearing extension for accountability.”

On October 10th 2010, he explained more, “The election you are talking about, I am seeing it being pushed forward. That pushing forward will not be alone – there will be another re-pushing and pushing. When a man of God is talking, it is because he has seen what is going to happen. What is going to happen – it’s what I have seen that made me to say ‘pushing, pushing’. That is why they said the constitution does not permit it. When they see what is going to happen, they would know the constitution will permit it!

“What I am seeing now – it is only the grace of God that would see us through. With the grace of God, nothing is impossible. The word ‘extension’ is pregnant. It has triplets, three babies inside the womb. And each baby has different messages. Ordinarily, extension is unnecessary, but circumstances will arise…

For the records, every prophecy T.B. Joshua gives is during his weekly live services on Emmanuel TV. So, he says it LIVE and direct to millions of viewers worldwide. Although the prophecies are often parabolic and not always specific, their consistency in accuracy is the most authenticating factor I consider.

And the fact they are given during a live service is also remarkable. It takes absolute confidence in God’s revelation to declare what is going to happen in the future in front of a live television audience because if the events turn out otherwise, it is too late to withdraw your words. That is why it is very rare to see ministers of God dabble into the area of prophecy today. I remember T.B. Joshua referring to it as a ‘screening machine’ in relation to Deuteronomy 18:22, simply because if you say, ‘God says’ and it doesn’t come to pass, you will almost immediately be described as a ‘false prophet’.

Check out The SCOAN Website for records of T.B. Joshua’s past prophecies and their subsequent fulfilment.  There are over 80 of them!!

The Spirit Of Death… Deliverance In Jesus’ Name

Here is the extraordinary deliverance testimony of a woman who was pursued and tormented by demonic forces of death, to the extent that she would see dead people wherever she went calling her to join them. Although it may sound farcical or fictional to the modern mindset, her experiences mirror those of countless people who receive deliverance at The SCOAN from evil spirits. The reality is that the spiritual world is real – and the effects of demonic spirits in this world is evident to see…

As Mrs. Gloria Okhae calmly crossed the road, little did she know that the trip from her home to a local chemist and an innocent purchase of medicine would result in a calamity that would send her out of her matrimonial home and into a living nightmare. Her stepson had fallen sick and Mrs. Gloria had purchased the medicine with every intent to nurse him back to health…

Returning to the house, she gave the child a dose of the medicine, which was to result in his sudden death – the drug from the store being both fake and fatal. Instead of his death leading to arrest and the eventual prosecution of the seller, this innocent woman was falsely accused of having deliberately killed the boy. That was the beginning of her nightmare, a terrifying experience that was to take her beyond the realm of the living: a journey to the land of the dead.

Gloria Okhae

Ms Gloria Okhae - delivered from the spirit of death

With dreams filled with visits from the dead, nights were dreaded and sleep troubled. After some time, the visions started becoming a reality and the nightmare went beyond the night. Daily life became deadly life as eating, bathing and merely walking down the street to the market were tormented by the faces of the dead haunting her and their voices disturbing her.

For Gloria Okhae, an indigene of Edo State in the southern part of Nigeria, it was a depressing and miserable life. She travelled through every nook and cranny of the state in search of a solution, finding none. Doctors informed her that her case was beyond medical solution. In Gloria’s own words: “It has been a life of struggle… it has been a life of battle with death.”

“I was being confronted with death. I sleep seeing this child in my dream and some other dead people. If I go to the market, what I see is death. If I am in the house, it is death. If am in the bathroom, it is death. I keep seeing dead people, even when I am in a car, all of a sudden the people in the car will turn to dead people. It has been a life of living among the dead.”

“When I am in the market and I want to buy something from somebody, before I get there, the person may initially be looking normal, but the moment I say: ‘How much is this commodity?’ suddenly the person would just change to a known dead person. Then I would leave. I would not buy what I wanted to buy again. Another experience is that, if I want to eat, I will see dead people. They would want to put their hands on the plate, then I would be afraid and would not eat again, and at the same time, I was getting skinny, because the moment they appear, I have to drop the food… They look like normal human beings, but in my heart, I know that they are dead, because they are familiar dead people…”

And what were these spirits of death telling her? “They will show me the time. They will tell me your time is up.”

Medical efforts defied and human solution insufficient, the woman slept one night in a state of utter despair, on the verge of giving up the struggle. However, that night proved to be a turning point as in her dream Prophet T.B. Joshua, whom she had never met in her life, appeared to her. Upon awaking, she packed her baggage and headed for Lagos, the vision spurring her on to search for The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations.

Her first encounter with the one who appeared in her dream was during The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations Sunday Service, where in front of the entire church – he spoke directly to her. Following the time of prayer, led by the Holy Spirit, T.B. Joshua said: “There is a woman here, a little child died through her mistakenly. The child was sick and you went to a local chemist to buy some tablets and these tablets resulted in the death of the child. The case later became a controversy, and the Lord saved you out of it, but later you left the place. I am telling you, you are facing the spirit of death. You keep seeing this child and some dead people in your dream. You are light in complexion and tall. Stand up – among the newcomers.”

It seemed like a dream. Rationality suggested that this was not reality. Within three hours of her entering The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations, Mrs. Gloria Okhae received a message from a man she had never met about a situation she had never disclosed to him, in a context she never expected. ‘God’s wisdom’ was at work! Even before the conclusion of the prophecy, Mrs. Okhae stood up from the midst of the newcomers, stepped out and moved towards the altar, her hands raised in utter amazement.

Narrating her ordeal to the church, she concluded by saying, “As I was coming here today, they (the dead) were also coming with me. But when I got to the gate, they could not enter”. As the congregation cheered, the man of God prayed for Mrs. Okhae in the power of the Holy Spirit and she received the deliverance she had been crying for.

T.B. Joshua

T.B. Joshua prophesied to Mrs Okhae who received her deliverance from the spirit of death

The following Sunday, Mrs. Okhae returned to share her testimony with the entire congregation: “When I was delivered by the man of God last Sunday, I went to the shop right inside the church and asked the woman to give me some snacks and soft drinks. I came back inside the auditorium and started eating and watching to see whether there would be any negative reaction, but I did not see dead people”.

She said further: “So I went home a happy woman. When I got home, I thought maybe it is because I took the snacks inside the church – that is why the dead people did not come around me. I now asked for food to be served again in the house to know whether they would surface again. When the food was served, I was watching, because they normally come. This time, I didn’t see anything. How relieved I was! That marked the end of the threat of death! To God be the glory”.

After her deliverance, for the first time in years, her sleep was uninterrupted and peaceful: “I lay down; I slept peacefully for the first time in my life, for many years. In fact, I didn’t turn! So, since that deliverance, it has been a life of glorious liberty – and no more death”.

What more is there to say: “Where, oh death is your victory? Where, oh death is your sting? Death has been swallowed up in victory (1 Corinthians 15:54-55).”

Prophetic Direction Through Dreams

Edwin Asonganyi, a seaman from Cameroon, shares his testimony about how viewing Emmanuel TV has transformed his life, explaining how Prophet T.B. Joshua has given prophetic direction and revelation to him and his wife on numerous occasions, although he has never physically been to The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations…

“Emmanuel! Thank you for this opportunity to share my testimony. This is a great joy for me! I started watching Emmanuel TV in 2008. And ever since I started watching Emmanuel TV, I have seen positive changes in my life.

“In 2009 my wife became pregnant. When she was about a month away from delivery, I had a dream where Prophet T.B. Joshua appeared to me and told me that we should be careful. He told me that somebody will bring a gift to us which is not good but said we should pray and nothing will happen. About two weeks later, a man of God visited us, prayed with us and told us the same thing! And truly, I received a strange gift a few weeks later and nothing happened. My wife delivered safely.

“After the child was 3 months old, he stayed for 7 days without excreting. I called the Emmanuel TV prayer line and they prayed with me with my hand on his stomach. Before 20 minutes, he excreted!

“My family comes from a background where nobody worships God. They usually worship witchdoctors. As a child, I was taken to many of these places for protection. Emmanuel tv has shown me that all the bad dreams I was having – seeing dead people, eating in dream, girls trying to make love with me in dream – are the result of all the witchdoctors I visited. But now, anytime I have a bad dream, I will call the Emmanuel TV team to pray with me and all will be ok!

“My wife is pregnant again now, but I am out of the country – as a seaman. Four days ago she called and told me she had a dream  where see saw herself giving birth to a baby in a wrong position. I encouraged her to be in prayer and emailed the Emmanuel  TV team, asking them for prayer and attaching our photos. The next day she called and told me that Prophet TB Joshua came to her in her dream and told her not to worry. He then prophesied to her in the dream, saying, ‘Before you were very clever, but now you always write exams and fail.’ She said, ‘Yes’. The prophet said, ‘This has been giving you a lot of worry.’ Then the prophet said to her, ‘Don’t worry-  I am seeing you as a nurse, and i see you going out of the country.’

“Prophet T.B. Joshua is a true man of god. He has done many good things in my life. Sometimes when I am praying to God, HE will tell me in my dream with God all things are possible. I have never been to The SCOAN but I believe distance is not a barrier. Always leave your problems to God and you will receive an answer, in Jesus’ name!

“I pray that GOD should make a way for me to visit the SCOAN for my complete deliverance, and I believe this light will also shine in our family! May God continue to increase in the life of  Prophet T.B. Joshua and the Emmanuel TV Team. Thank you for your time, thank you for your patience and thank you for your love. God bless you!”

Thanks for sharing your testimony Edwin. We believe at God’s time, you and your family will have the opportunity to visit The SCOAN. Please keep us updated with what God is doing in your life and career!

If you have been watching Emmanuel TV and have a testimony to share, don’t keep it to yourself! Glorify God and tell the world what HE is doing! You can share your testimony via this blog here. God bless!

TB Joshua Prophecy And Reconciliation

The following is an article from a Nigerian newspaper called ‘The National Life’ explaining the testimony of a man who received a prophecy from Prophet T.B. Joshua during a SCOAN service, and how the prophecy brought transformation and truth to his life and that of his entire community…

The joy of Ubong Enah Willie, a native of Ndoneyo in Onna Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State Nigeria, having completed his house suffered a fatal blow as tragedy struck his family and the team of prayer band invited to dedicate the house.

In the course of dedicating the house, two of Ubong’s children mysteriously dropped dead, while a pastor lapsed into coma, which ultimately took his life. Other members of the prayer band sustained serious injuries. Ubong, a spare part dealer explained that he had managed to make some savings from his meager income with which he purchased the land on which he built the house.

He revealed that he bought the land against prior warning by some men of God that he consulted about the dangers inherent in procuring the land and building on it. Tired of being hounded by landlords, Ubong said he over a period of time succeeded in erecting a 3-bedroom apartment on the said land.

Amidst savouring the joy of having become a landlord, Ubong explained that as a devout Christian, he invited a team of prayer warriors to cleanse the house of demonic and satanic powers and presence. Convinced of their divine anointing to uproot satanic powers, he said the pastors swung into action, binding and casting out demonic forces with him and his family members in attendance.

However, midway into the prayer session, Ubong said the whole exercise changed, and tragedy struck. According to him, he said that just as the prayers were going on, evil spirits invaded the building, shutting the doors and invincibly hitting everybody present with what was like a hammer, killing two of his four children instantly an leaving his wife and others seriously injured.

The pastor who led the prayers, he said died few days after while another member of the prayer team till date has lost sensation in his right hand. In his own words, the embattled Ubong said: “I bought the land with my hard earned money although I was warned against buying it. After the purchase, I went ahead to start building on it. At the end of the day, I was able to put up a 3-bedroom apartment. As a Christian who believes in committing everything into the hands of God, I invited some pastors to come and pray over the house before we move in.

“On the day that they came, my family and I were around. Surprisingly, as the prayer was going on, I just experienced a strange feeling all over me and I felt like I had rashes all over my body. As I was wondering over what was happening, others were also having their own very unpalatable experience. There was no way out for any of us because everywhere was locked. At the end of it all, my two children died immediately. One of the pastors died about three days after”

TB Joshua With The Family

Bassey Monday Udoh, another member of the prayer band explained that their mission to pray over Ubong’s new house was not the first time he would go out for such. Stunned by the bizarre experience, he recounted:” I have always gone out to pray for people in their houses and shops. Ubong’s case wasn’t the first time I went for such but it turned out to be a very terrible experience. While we were saying our prayers, some evil spirits just entered the house hitting me all over the body with something that felt like a hammer. I fell and it continued to hit me. After the medical attention that I received, I have lost feeling in my right hand. I have not been able to do anything with it since then and it still gives me serious pains. Apart from my hand, I have not been able to also reason very well as I used to do before now as a result of that demonic torture.”

Pointing to a particular part of his body, he said, “Look at this side of my head, (he shows it), hair has not grown there since the incident” As if the cruel blows he received were not enough, Ubong, who was still dazed by the incidence that still defies comprehension and still mourning the demise of his children and his beloved pastor, was in for another shock when the community accused him of killing his children and the pastor for money rituals.

Aside the pain of having lost his beloved ones, the community’s allegation festered the sore in Ubong’s heart as he faced threats of various forms, including banished from his fatherland. With his whole world apparently crashing, the saying that failure is an orphan dawned on him.

Despite losing his children and his pastor in a prayer session, Ubong’s faith in his creator remained firm. Without any one to lean on, he solidly believed that his God was capable of setting him free.

With this conviction, he left his home town for the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) in Lagos. At SCOAN, he recounted that while Prophet T.B. Joshua was prophesying, he mentioned that there was a man present at the service who was alleged of murder and asked such person to come out.

Stunned by the correctness of the prophecy, Ubong said: “I just came here to pray for God to deliver me from my problems and show to my people that I was innocent of the allegation leveled against me. To my surprise, Prophet T.B. Joshua, in the course of his prophecy, narrated everything that happened. He said the person concerned was innocent and asked that such person should come out for prayers. I did and he prayed for me.”

While away in Lagos seeking spiritual help, Ubong’s community back in Onna had gone to consult witch doctors to ascertain his culpability in the ugly incident. Without prior knowledge of Ubong’s visit to the SCOAN, the community head, he said put the oracles’ revelations aside and said he would have to hear from Prophet Joshua before he could accept that Ubong was not responsible for his children and pastor’s death.

Thus, he arranged that a delegate from the community, the pastor’s family members and Ubong visit SCOAN. Prior to that, the late pastor’s son who was said to be violent had threatened to avenge his father’s death by killing Ubong in return. After some appeals from the community, he was said to have rescinded his decision but demanded that Ubong should pay the sum of N4million for his father’s burial.

The Gift

A bloody clash which would have ensued as a result of the crises was averted when the whole party involved in the crises visited Prophet Joshua. Meeting with the late pastor’s family and the community head’s delegate, Prophet Joshua informed that Ubong was innocent of the murder allegation leveled against him. To save the insolvent Ubong from being further hounded because of the huge sum the late pastor’s son demanded for his father’s burial, Prophet Joshua gave the family a sum of N500,000 and went ahead to assure the widow, Comfort Kiddy of his support for the upkeep of the family.

The widow had also requested that Ubong should be responsible for her mother’s burial which she said the late pastor was supposed to do before his untimely death while praying at Ubong’s new house. Propitiated by the Prophet’s intervention and benevolence, the late pastor’s son, Victor said that they were convinced that Ubong was not responsible for his father’s death and assured that peace would reign hence forth.

Prophecy: Day Of Birth Revealed

Another awesome testimony, this time concerning a prophecy given during a SCOAN service to a woman who was 11 months pregnant. T.B. Joshua revealed the exact day she would safely deliver! This article comes from the ‘Africa News’ website… enjoy!

It was an eruption of euphoria in Delta State, Nigeria, as a baby girl was born amidst supernatural circumstances…

Mrs Joy Everbright had carried her pregnancy for 11 months. Awaiting a caesarean operation, necessary due to the wrong position of her baby in the womb, Joy had all but lost hope of delivering her child naturally. However, fearing the doctor’s scalpel and hungry for divine solution, Mrs Everbright boldly made her way to a church in Lagos where miracles were said to happen. She received more than she bargained for.

In the midst of the large crowd at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations on Sunday June 7th 2009, Pastor T.B. Joshua spotted Joy out with a pinpoint prophetic revelation. “There is a woman here – you are due to deliver your baby. This is 11 months. Come out. You have been booked for operation. This is a baby girl.” Evidently shocked, Joy rushed forward. TB Joshua then prayed with her, telling her directly: “You will deliver your baby on Wednesday.”

TB Joshua Prophecy

Mrs Joy Everbright sharing her testimony at The SCOAN

The next week, Joy returned to the church to share her remarkable testimony. She had safely delivered her baby girl on Wednesday at 9:30am, precisely as the pastor had said. A medical doctor from the Bahamas who was present during the service confirmed, “This is indeed a miracle”, stating that an operation was the only medical option available in such a circumstance. What baffled the crowd most was the pastor’s prediction of the exact day of the baby’s birth, a declaration evidently made under divine influence.

Joshua used the occasion to explain the function of a pastor, saying: “Pastors are sent to utter the deep things of God for the conviction of sin, and for edification and comfort.” He further lamented “ministries of empty talk”, stating that many pastors don’t dabble into the area of prophecy today for fear that it will expose their lack of authenticity and authority. He reminded the congregation of the biblical standard in Deuteronomy 18:22 – “If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken.”

In the same service which was broadcast live on Emmanuel TV, a couple from South Africa shared a similar testimony. Barren for 10 years due to a low sperm count and inverted womb, Mr Pieter and Mrs Gene Van Zyl joyfully explained how prayer from Pastor Joshua had wrought an incredible miracle. Now several months pregnant, Gene spoke of how the pastor had told them two years earlier that she would conceive, and admonished them to hold fast to God and His promises. “God can definitely do it for you” she encouraged the excited crowd, now that the promise had become a reality.

Prophet T.B. Joshua has garnered a reputation for his prophetic prowess on both a personal and international level. Recently, he is said to have prophesied the death of former South Korean President Roh Moo-hyn, the tragic plane crash in New York on Feb 13 and the release of Ingrid Betancourt from the Colombian jungle last year. The President of Ghana, John Evans Atta Mills, has publically acknowledged Joshua’s prophetic ministry, stating he had accurately revealed to him details of his three-round election victory.

Concluding his sermon, Pastor Joshua said: “The prophecies of the prophets of old became signs. Each sign said: ‘These men are from God; their message is true; believe their words.’ ”

Prophetic time during the live services on Emmanuel TV is probably my favourite time! It is just incredible to see God revealing intricate details about people’s lives to T.B. Joshua and the Five Wise Men, followed by them being delivered and set free.
