Nigeria’s New Minimum Wage Bill

Nigeria's President Goodluck Jonathan

Samuel Wilcox writes this intriguing testimony from Nigeria concerning the decision of Nigeria’s Government to sign a new minimum wage bill…

“Emmanuel!! Last week I prayed, asking GOD that if he is the God of T.B Joshua and it is God that called him, HE should make our President sign the new minimum wage. It affects me because I am a civil servant. Then on Monday 28th March, 2011, it was aired on TV and radio that the president has signed the new minimum wage. I give God the glory!”

Here are a couple of news stories relating to the governments decision to raise the minimum wage to N18,000 and why Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan chose to secretly sign it.
